Recently the Durham based record company, Merge Records, released a great album by Divine Fits called A Thing Called Divine Fits. The group is an assortment of guys from other indie bands such as Spoon and Wolf Parade. I can't get enough of watching them play "Would That Not Be Nice" in a straight to the point (being the music) music video.

Art Love: Cow Parade NC
The cow parade happens around the world in many different locations and now it's North Carolina's turn! It's a unique way to see different types of local artists at work. The combination of creativity and local pride makes a great art scavenger hunt.
This is one of my favorites. One side is Duke Blue and one is Carolina Blue; I obviously picked the best side. |
Cow Parade NC has a great app for finding the cows and looking for the ones that you most one to see.
Here are a few I would love to find.
I took a tour around Durham to find the cows with the most Durham pride. The ones I found were all unique and made me love my city even more.
