Summer is almost here and I've decided I can not spend all summer in dresses. (well....I could but I'm going to try and mix it up a bit!) So my search for shorts begins.

Upscale and casual mixed together. The Jackie O side of me really wants them.

Art Love: Theo Jansen

Yesterday, my friend and colleague, Jeni Foote, showed this video to my kindergarten class.  Theo Jansen, a dutch artist, makes kinetic sculptures that move on their own.  He calls his creations the next wheel.  His animals are fascinating to watch and try to figure out. Get ready to be amazed!

Music Love: Givers

Great song that I have decided is the new Indie song for my kindergarten class. We basically just jump every time we hear the word up. Awesome song and it really wears them out. Past class songs:2011: Vampire Weekend-Holiday 2010: Phoenix-Lisztomania All the songs have one thing in common-they make you want to jump up and down which is every five year-old's version of dancing (and mine).
